Anxiety is a very natural response to pressure, feeling afraid or threatened, which can show up in our day to day lives. It can have physical effects as well as emotional ones and can affect how we behave.

It’s common to describe anxiety as a feeling of stress, fear, overwhelm or dread. It can be mild or very severe.

Anxiety can be a problem if we start worrying a lot about small things or harmless situations. It’s usually when anxiety feels very intense or overwhelming that it starts to interfere with our life or even affect our relationships with others.

Some of the symptoms of anxiety are:
-
feeling tired, restless or irritable and angry.
-
struggling to have a good night's sleep.
-
feeling shaky or trembly, dizzy or even sweating more.
-
being unable to concentrate, make decisions and becoming forgetful.
-
thinking about problems of the past regularly
-
worrying about the future or thinking something bad will happen.
-
headaches, tummy aches, muscle pain and tension.
-
dry mouth
-
pins and needles
-
noticing your heartbeat gets stronger, faster or irregular when to get anxious.
-
putting decisions off
-
OCD
-
not being able to control your appetite.
